Senior Programme Officer (Research and Advocacy)

Are you passionate about Africa's energy transition and climate policy? Are you looking to drive evidence-based advocacy across the continent?

Enzi Ijayo Africa Initiative is looking for a Senior Programme Officer (Research and Advocacy) to lead cutting-edge research, shape policy conversations, and strengthen strategic engagement on Africa's green economic development.

This role sits at the intersection of research, policy and advocacy -- managing the full research lifecycle while building partnerships with governments, development partners, civil society, academia, and the private sector.

* Location: Remote (Africa-wide scope)
* Contract: One-year renewable appointment

We're looking for someone with:
* Strong experience in policy-oriented research and advocacy
* Deep understanding of Africa's energy and climate landscape
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* A track record of producing impactful policy and knowledge products

The successful candidate will help position Enzi Ijayo as a leading voice on Africa's just energy transition.
