About This Role
This position is responsible for coordinate and support HR Service delivery in countries assigned. The position will work closely with the Country Director and the Senior Management Team to drive HR Strategy in line with the Country Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plans. The position will collaborate with the HR/Admin Assistant in Bolivia, the Global HR Service representation for delivery of services through the Global Shared Service, and reporting directly to the Regional HRPB, Americas.

Required Experience and Education
* Degree in Human Resources Management, Communication, Organization Development, Talent Management or a closely related field strongly preferred. Relevant certifications also a plus.
* 5-7 years relevant experience in progressively responsible roles in human resources; minimum of 3 years' experience managing Multi-country HR procedures and strategies.
* Good knowledge of HR business processes such performance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, competency frameworks, learning & development, succession planning, culture, and staff care.
* Ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix environment
* Experience utilizing various HRIS and learning platforms and tools
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, customer service, consulting, and influence skills
* Demonstrated experience building collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including appropriate vendors
* Ability to demonstrate support for innovation and organizational changes needed to improve the organization's effectiveness; helping others to successfully manage organizational change.
* Ability to recognize, react and adjust to rapidly changing conditions
* Proactive and adaptive
* Fluency in English and Spanish, is a must.
* Experience with Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Excel required.
* Experience in Payroll, knowledge in the Federal Labor Law, Recruitment and Organizational implementations.
* Excellent client service skills.
* Ability to work in team-oriented environment.

Primary Responsibilities
Strategy
* Support the process of Country Strategic Plan and Annual Planning across CO's, including workforce planning.
* Lead HR Strategic Planning in the respective Country Offices (Ecuador & Bolivia).
* Acts as a Champion in leading various local Organizational Development, Change and Innovation initiatives.
* Provide inputs and recommendations to Global HR Planning and Strategy Development.

Talent Acquisition
* Responsible for overseeing recruitment of Country Offices (Ecuador & Bolivia) level positions with support from HR Recruitment Team.
* Review and Ensure JDs, Make Interviews, and Negotiate formal employment offer, for both Offices.
* Create Contracts, Ensure HR Communications on time (New Hires, Departures, Changes) and Coordinate Onboarding Agendas.
* Submits the online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks.

Talent Management
Ensure the end to end Employee Experience in the Country Offices including following;
Onboarding
* Oversee Country Offices Onboarding process.
* Facilitate benefits and internal policies/procedures orientation for Country Offices staff.
* Collaborate with the HR/Admin Assistant in Bolivia to ensure local procedures in the Country.

Off-boarding
* Oversee Country Offices Off boarding process.
* Ensure completion of the employee exit checklist including logistics and separation from exiting benefit programs; Conduct Exit Interview.
* Collaborate with the HR/Admin Assistant in Bolivia to ensure local procedures in the Country.

Employee Engagement
* Responsible for the development and execution of Country Offices Engagement Action Plan working in collaboration with the SMT in the Country Offices.
* Responsible for Coordinating the Annual Medical Exams and Occupational Health & Safety Annual Plans and Collaborate with the SMT in implementing and documenting the respective Action Plan.
* Collaborate with the HR/Admin Assistant in Bolivia to ensure local procedures in the Country.

Performance Management
* Implement and monitor the Country Performance Management Process in line with Global Performance Management Strategy
* Support the process of Performance Improvement Planning working with respective managers
* Facilitate Training on Performance Management

Learning & Development
* Work with the country offices to conduct a training need analysis on specific organizational and personal development interventions
* Responsible for implementing learning and development plans for all CO's staff.
* This includes advising key management and personnel development programs such as technical, management/leadership and professional development.
* Facilitate GHR training interventions and follow up as needed.
* Facilitate training around key policy and procedures and benefit programs i.e. Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, Benefits and Comp Programs

Employee Relations
* Provide consultation in staff disciplinary process in order to ensure compliance with organizational standards and serves as primary advisor to management on appropriate actions for prevention and response to employment related legal concerns.
* Managing compliance and driving performance and taking corrective actions in line with organizational policies and procedures
* Point person for Conflict Resolution in the country offices and works in collaboration with Global HR Business Partner to provide appropriate recommendations for the management team.

HR Operations
* Responsible for keeping human resource admin data & metrics updated (i.e. turnover, employee relations issues, staffing challenges, etc.) and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Oversees ongoing update of Employee Data and records in HRIS in collaboration with GSS Staff and HR and Admin Support staff in CO.
* Responsible for ensuring staff physical and digital folders, are updated and in place.
* Responsible for ensuring the process of Country Offices audits, follow-up, and implementing corrective actions & recommendations.
* Collaborate with the HR/Admin Assistant in Bolivia to ensure local procedures in the Country.

Safety and Security
* Will work in collaboration with Safety and Security to accomplish following;
* Support and ensure training to build capacity and resilience in staff.
* Provide safety and security support (including risk assessments) to staff deploying to emergency response and ensure they have appropriate equipment and training.
* Participation in relevant networks for information sharing, learning and best practices.

Payroll and Compensation
* Ensure and oversee the payroll processing.
* Participate in local compensation benchmarking survey (other than Birches).
* Support the Annual Merit Process in collaboration with the Country Director and HRBP.
* Collaborate with the HR/Admin Assistant in Bolivia to ensure local procedures in the Country.

Policies and Procedures
* Review and update Employee Handbook (as necessary) to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
* Keep abreast with local employment and regulations in country and recommend appropriate changes to policies and procedures in time.

Key Interfaces
Internal: Country Director, managers and staff, Sr. HR Managers, HR/Admin Assistant, HRBP, Regional Recruitment Specialist, Regional HR Data Analyst and Global HR team.
External: Employment legal advisors, candidates and Recruitment agencies, other HR vendors, HR professional networks.
