Project Manager - IP3
The project EMBLEM (Entrepreneurial Mobility in Blue and Green Sectors for Mauritania), implemented by ICMPD Pan Africa's region, under the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF), seeks to strengthen legal and circular labour mobility pathways between Mauritania, France and Spain, by piloting a mobility scheme that builds the entrepreneurial capacities of young Mauritanian talent in the blue and green sectors.
ICMPD will be responsible for the overall coordination of the project, strategic oversight, contractual management, monitoring and reporting. It will also lead the Technical Assistance component aimed at strengthening labour migration governance systems, through analysis of existing mandates and strategies, development of a practical roadmap, and development of tools to enhance implementation and follow-up of the labour mobility cycle.
The project manager is based in Brussels, with frequent travel required to Mauritania. S/he works under the overall supervision of the Pan-Africa Portfolio Manager.
The Project Manager may also provide support to other projects implemented by the Pan Africa Region in Mauritania, as required.
Proficiency in (verbal/written) English and French is required. Proficiency in Arabic is considered an asset.
