Team Leader Consultant for FAO - PEARL Cashew Project
Location: Kampong Thom, Cambodia
SNV is seeking a Team Leader Consultant for the PEARL project, a six-year Green Climate Fund-financed initiative in Cambodia's Northern Tonle Sap Basin, executed with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Environment, and FAO, aiming to enhance climate resilience of smallholder farmers through public-social-private partnerships across rice, mango, vegetable, and cashew value chains. The Team Leader is responsible for overall project implementation and team steering: setting up administrative, governance, accounting, HR and M&E structures; managing and motivating the project team and stakeholders; ensuring quality assurance of deliverables; managing contract, financial and procurement compliance; leading people management and staff coaching; driving business development and stakeholder relationships; and ensuring reporting and knowledge development per SNV's M&E guidelines. Candidates must be Cambodian nationals with a Master's degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in development work and project management in an international, multi-country context, with strong knowledge of project management procedures, administrative systems and finance processes. Key competencies include team leadership, prioritization, decisiveness, analytical problem-solving, and a drive for quality and continuous improvement.
