Vera Solutions is a social enterprise and certified B Corporation using technology to transform the way the social sector engages with data. They are seeking a dedicated Solutions Architect (SA) responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of projects. This includes leading discovery and design workshops with clients, synthesizing client requirements into solutions, advising on data strategy and governance, implementing complex technology and data solutions including on the Salesforce Platform, providing technical expertise during sales, and supporting project managers to deliver high-quality projects on time and budget. Primary responsibilities: drive requirements-gathering sessions and map client business processes; design technology solutions appropriate to a client's capacity and budget; advise on data strategy, governance, and architecture; develop implementation roadmaps and integrations; lead implementation teams and drive quality across technical builds; advise on applying AI tools to client operations and workflows; support sales with technical/advisory expertise; and contribute to Vera's learning environment. Required qualifications: a relevant Engineering, Computer Science, or Data-related degree (or equivalent experience); relevant Salesforce architect certifications; 5+ years of technology experience (consulting preferred); 3+ years with the Salesforce Lightning Platform or comparable platforms; 1+ years designing solutions in an advisory/architect capacity; experience with data strategy, governance, and implementation; integration patterns; full SDLC experience; and strong communication skills. Desirable: interest in social sector/international development work and fluency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese. The role is hybrid (2 days in-office/week) in Cape Town with an annual salary of R955,710, plus benefits including an employee incentive plan, sabbatical, student loan support, child care assistance, retirement matching, uncapped wellness leave, 38 days paid leave, and health care coverage.
