Coordinador de Proyecto / Project Coordinator based in Mexico City, ChildFund Mexico office, reporting to the Child Protection and Advocacy Specialist Senior. Full-time fixed term, on-site. ChildFund is a child-focused international development organization connecting children with the people, resources and institutions they need to grow up healthy, educated, skilled and safe. The Project Coordinator provides overall leadership and management in implementing a community-based Child Rights Monitoring and Remediation System (CRMRS) in selected coffee-growing communities in the Chiapas and Veracruz regions, specifically related to community child protection and child protection case management. The role ensures children's fundamental protection rights are respected and promoted in coffee farms and their communities, ensures project deliverables are met per the proposal, provides supervision and technical assistance to project staff, and coordinates with partners at community, municipal, state and/or federal levels. Required: bachelor's degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Law, Psychology or closely related area (master's an advantage); at least 3 years of project management experience within an international NGO leading medium-to-large scale Child Protection programs; multi-sector coordination experience; strong organizational, analytical, facilitation and leadership skills; willingness to travel regularly to project sites; and good oral and written English communication skills (fluency in a local language an advantage). Responsibilities include leading planning and execution of CRMRS activities, managing the project budget per donor and ChildFund requirements, monitoring implementation quality, ensuring proper data collection and documentation, coordinating with stakeholders and partners, timely progress reporting, and mentoring project staff.
