Qualification :
School diploma in with three years of relevant experience (essential).
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with one years of relevant professional experience. (desirable).

Sector experience : Minimum of 3 year/s of demonstrable relevant experience in humanitaria protection (essential).

Geographical experience Minimum of 3 year/s of experience in Africa (essential).

Languages
Fluent in Arabic (essential).
Fluent in English (essential).

Overview of position
Established in 1951, Our client is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non- governmental partners. Our client is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all.

Role objectives
1. Protection monitoring: Coordinate and implement protection analysis activities, conduct monitoring visits to detention centers, gathering points, and disembarkation sites, and prepare assessment reports.
2. Field support: Provide logistical and administrative support for field visits, coordination meetings, and follow-up actions; ensure accurate data collection using available tools.
3. Community engagement: Provide support for AAP-related events, campaigns, training, consultations, and promote engagement to community meetings, focus groups, and/or outreach activities.
4. Beneficiary support: Provide information on available services and refer beneficiaries to appropriate IOM units or partner organizations.
5. Partner communication: Communicate with internal and external partners on protection monitoring activities and contribute to overall project monitoring and reporting.
6. AAP awareness: Support efforts to ensure clear understanding of AAP concepts, principles, and mechanisms among migrants, communities, and stakeholders.
7. Feedback management: Record, categorize, and update feedback in the AAP database confidentially, ensuring timely referral, follow up, and systematic collection from suggestion boxes and offline channels.
8. Reporting duties: Ensure timely and complete reporting of all activities on a timely manner.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Engagement and coordination skills, to explain AAP concepts clearly, speak with communities respectfully, and coordinate with partners.
