MEAL Assistant
Contract Duration: 5 Months (Renewable)

Work overview:
Under the supervision of the field supervisor, assisting in working on project service (visual and print media), promoting these projects according to the needs of the plan and its agreements, and documenting activities
Main responsibilities:
• Follow up on all project monitoring and evaluation activities
• Assist in designing monitoring and evaluation tools
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports and sending them to the direct technical manager
• Carrying out all tasks requested by the line manager
• Collecting questionnaires and conducting focused discussion sessions
• Ensure the accuracy of the collected data, clean it, and ensure its quality
• Follow up on complaints and accountability mechanisms via (complaints box - WhatsApp -
• complaints email) and also follow up on complaints related to sexual exploitation and abuse.
Communication Coordination Other Duties:
The monitoring and evaluation assistant must communicate with the beneficiaries periodically to obtain satisfaction with the services provided.
She must also coordinate with the work team in order to conduct periodic evaluations and provide them with an overview of the evaluation results, lessons learned, and challenges facing the beneficiaries and activities, which achieves work development and increased effectiveness, thus obtaining a better impact.
Key working relationships
Internally, technically: The direct supervisor is responsible for monitoring and evaluation, administratively with the project manager and the center’s supervisor, in addition to communicating and coordinating with the center’s work team to serve the tasks and responsibilities.
Externally: providing information to conduct surveys and questionnaires
Professional Qualifications:
• 3 years of work experience in the humanitarian field
• At least two years of experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation
• Experience in dealing with women, girls and gender issues and familiarity with relevant standards
• Experience in dealing with women, girls and gender issues and familiarity with relevant standards
• Experience in dealing with children and familiarity with relevant standards
Academic Qualifications:
• University degree, institute or relevant certificate.
Personal skills:
• Skills in communicating with others
• A good level of English and Arabic is preferred.
• Experience working on Office programs, Kobo
• Experience in analyzing and collecting data.
• Working within a team.
• Accurate observation and able to deduce answers smoothly
