Background of consultancy assignment/ Project
WWF-Myanmar has been working together with SMEs and supporting them to improve their understanding of the risks they are exposed to from a worsening water situation in their surroundings, and to improve their individual water practices. To strengthen the technical capacity of partners SMEs on their understanding on ground water management and water risks, WWF-Myanmar seeks to engage well-experienced, qualify consultant/consultant team to design and deliver a context-specific training program on groundwater control practices.
Objective of the consultancy
The objective is to enhance SME's awareness on ground water status and future, risk, and control measures generally in Myanmar, and specific to the targeted areas.
Scope of work
- The consultant/consultant team is expected to design and deliver a one-day, context-based groundwater training curriculum tailored for SME classroom sessions in collaboration with another wastewater technology training team.

Required Profile and Expected Qualifications
The consultant/team should have:
- Advanced university degree in Hydrogeology, Water Resources Management, Environmental Science, Geology, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, or other related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in groundwater systems, hydrogeology, aquifer assessment, groundwater quality and quantity monitoring, and sustainable groundwater management.
- Professional experience in designing and delivering technical training curricula, modules, or capacity-building programs related to water resources or environmental management.
- Excellent reporting skill
- Working proficiency in English
