Location: Yaounde, Cameroon
The Senior Technical Advisor - Malaria provides strategic and technical leadership for MSH activities that strengthen the supply chain for malaria commodities in Cameroon. Reporting to the Technical Director, the Advisor works with the National Malaria Control Program, the Directorate of Pharmacy, Medicines and Laboratories, CENAME, regional and district health authorities, donors, and implementing partners to improve forecasting, supply planning, commodity availability, data use, and distribution. Duties include leading national and subnational technical assistance, promoting routine use of logistics data to prevent stock disruptions, strengthening coordination and counterpart capacity, guiding regional supply chain personnel including on seasonal malaria chemoprevention activities, leading annual quantification and quarterly supply planning, analyzing consumption and distribution data, developing training materials, facilitating coordination meetings and data-quality reviews, and contributing to performance reporting and documentation of results. Requires a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, medicine, nursing, public health, supply chain management, logistics or related field, with specialized training or substantial experience in malaria commodity management; a Master's degree is preferred. At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in health commodity supply chain strengthening within Cameroon's health system, including 3-5 years of quantification/forecasting/supply planning experience and at least three years supporting a malaria program. Professional fluency in French and English is required.
