NP Iraq is looking for a freelance multimedia expert to produce visual and outreach products, including shorter videos for social media and a documentary, marking 10 years of work in Iraq. The materials will highlight stories of impact and learnings, and visually document the application of NP's Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP) methodology in the Ninewa context, tracing its adaptation from crisis emergency mode to stabilisation mode. The consultant will consult with the NP Iraq programme team to scope interviews and agree a workplan, independently conduct community visits to Ninewa to record interviews with stakeholders (with informed consent), produce a documentary and short clips of human stories, and contribute written outputs such as blogs, case studies, and briefs for donors, practitioners, policymakers, and communities. Deliverables include a detailed workplan, recorded video interviews, draft written outreach materials, raw high-quality visuals, and final documentary/clip exports with subtitles in English and local languages. Filming must be completed by 31 December 2026. Required qualifications: a track record with at least three applicable video examples on human rights, humanitarian, or civil society topics; a team including at least one expert in journalism, communications, film, or video production; ability to extract human stories in written and video form; fluency in English and Arabic (Kurdish desired); and ability to travel independently within Erbil and Ninewa governorates.
