The Accountant belongs to the Finance Unit at the Tenure Facility and reports to the Finance Manager, who is also responsible for day-to-day supervision, training and prioritisation of tasks. Other roles within the Finance Unit are the CFO and six Project Controllers. The Tenure Facility manages its bookkeeping internally: ongoing accounting is handled in Business Central, financial statements in Capego Bokslut, and supplier invoices in Readsoft/Exflow AP, prepared under K3 (BFNAR 2012:1), with an annual turnover of approximately 400 MSEK, about 2,000 vouchers and around 600 supplier invoices. Payroll processing is outsourced, though bookkeeping, reconciliation and filing of payroll documentation remain part of the role. Key responsibilities include continuous bookkeeping in Business Central; review, coding and posting of supplier invoices; preparation of weekly payments; posting of bank payments and reconciliation with outstanding invoices; downloading bank statements; review of staff expense claims; participation in monthly closings including accruals; reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, accounts payable, banks and petty cash; posting of payroll and filing payroll documentation; participation in year-end closing and preparation of the annual report per K3; and support to external and internal auditors and tax reporting. Essential requirements: post-secondary education in accounting or finance or equivalent experience; at least 2 years' experience of ongoing accounting and closing work; experience working independently in an ERP system and with supplier invoice workflows; good Excel skills; fluent Swedish and English. Desirable: experience with Business Central, Capego Bokslut and Readsoft/Exflow; experience from a foundation, non-profit or donor-funded organisation; knowledge of Swedish accounting under K3 and relevant tax rules; experience with foreign currency payments; additional language skills such as Spanish, French, Portuguese or Indonesian. This is a permanent full-time position starting 1 November 2026, with a six-month probationary period, located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, under the Almega Tjänstemannaavtalet collective agreement.
