ChildFund is an international child-focused development organization connecting children with the people, resources, and institutions they need to grow healthy, educated, skilled, and safe. The Case Worker will provide quality child protection case management services for children and adolescents who have suffered or are at risk of violence, negligence, abuse, or exploitation, including child labor not permitted under national law, as well as for their families, during implementation of the Child Rights Monitoring and Remediation System in selected communities across Mexico. Key responsibilities include: providing case management services according to eligibility criteria and case prioritization guidance; guiding children, adolescents, and families through the case management process per project SOPs and Mexican law; providing psychosocial support throughout the case management process; making safe referrals to essential child protection services and following up to ensure services meet needs identified during risk assessment; ensuring accurate, high-quality, timely records and reports; maintaining confidentiality; coordinating closely with community members, municipal child protection service providers, partner NGOs, and government entities to identify and safely refer at-risk children; maintaining an updated service-provider mapping inventory and multisectoral referral pathway; participating in multisectoral case management workshops; and engaging actively in capacity-building, supervision, and team case management meetings. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Social Psychology; prior work experience in community development (preferably child protection case management); minimum 1 year of professional experience working with children and adolescents; at least 1 year of motorcycle riding experience with a valid motorcycle driving license. Required competencies include leadership, digital literacy, ability to travel regularly to project implementation sites, effective stakeholder communication, sensitivity to child protection issues, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
