The Information Management Services Section of the ICC Registry provides information management, information systems support, technology operations and information security services to all organs of the Court. The Associate Database and ERP Administrator works under the general guidance of the Head, Systems Development and Administration Unit, and under the direct supervision of the Systems and Data Administrator.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise the database and ERP administration team and lead the general management of databases and the ERP system within the portfolio.
- Manage and monitor ERP (specifically SAP NetWeaver) systems and databases.
- Maintain and ensure the availability of the entire database environment (production, test and ERP back-end).
- Provide technical input into strategies for database and ERP management.
- Develop upgrades, apply fixes, and support the implementation of ERP solutions, diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the SAP system.
- Participate in developing technical documents, standards and tools, and perform technical system monitoring.
- Coordinate backup activities and troubleshoot to keep ERP business data available and business running in the event of a disaster.
- Assist in training and developing technical support staff.
Qualifications and experience:
- Advanced university degree in systems engineering, telecommunications, computer science, information systems or a related area. A first-level degree plus two additional years of qualifying experience is accepted instead.
- At least two years of relevant ICT experience (four years with a first-level degree), particularly in database and ERP management.
- Experience installing and configuring Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases, including high-availability technology, is required. Experience with database optimization, capacity management, and backup and recovery on Oracle and SQL Server is also required.
- ITIL and PRINCE2/Agile or PMI certification and experience are required, as is experience managing a team in an international environment.
- SAP installation and upgrade experience, cloud (Azure, AWS) experience, scripting and automation skills, and database security knowledge are desirable.
- Proficiency in English or French is required. Working knowledge of the other language, or of Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish, is an asset.
Contract and salary: Established post (E-9966). Minimum net annual salary is €71,333. Initial appointments are for two years with possible extension, and include a six-month probationary period.
