Corus International, parent organization of Lutheran World Relief, seeks a Project Officer for the RISE project in Burkina Faso, a 10-month emergency intervention with World Vision to improve access to integrated health, nutrition and WASH services for vulnerable populations. Based in Kongoussi with regular travel to intervention zones, reporting to the Program Manager and supervising a Project Coordinator, with technical support from a Nutrition Advisor and MEAL Officer. Key responsibilities: translate approved plans into detailed monthly work plans (activities, targets, deliverables, timelines, resources, indicators, risks); coordinate ARC-D, F2C and WASH diagnostics; ensure quality and technical integration across health-nutrition-WASH activities; maintain emergency preparedness tools and support rapid response coordination with clusters and humanitarian actors when triggered; supervise and coach the Project Coordinator; track results, budget, procurement and risk registers; coordinate with health districts, authorities and communities; ensure PSEA, safeguarding, accountability and Do No Harm principles; prepare monthly reports and maintain complete documentation archives. Requirements: minimum Bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, epidemiology or related field (Master's preferred); at least 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or 3 years with a Master's; minimum 2 years verifiable experience in health emergency preparedness or response; experience coordinating humanitarian or public health projects with budgeted work plans; supervisory experience and experience working in a matrixed organization with technical advisors; experience with institutional donor projects and the Burkinabè humanitarian context preferred.
