Fauna & Flora is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist, Governance & Livelihoods, who will lead the implementation of a rights-based conservation approach across Fauna & Flora's target landscapes and projects in Liberia, ensuring that the approach to governance and sustainable livelihoods is effectively and consistently implemented across landscapes. The role requires a team player with strong interpersonal skills and sound technical knowledge and experience of developing and applying rights-based approaches in conservation contexts, along with a highly collaborative and strategic thinker with proven experience in capacity building, project design, management, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL). Working alongside the Country Director, the post-holder will lead engagement with government, communities and other stakeholders, promoting rights-based and good governance approaches to conservation and natural resource management in line with global best practices, building and managing relationships with staff, partner organisations and community representatives, and working with multi-disciplinary groups. Experience applying these skills in a conservation, rural livelihoods and/or natural resource management context is required. Salary: USD 48,570. Contract period: 2 year fixed term contract. Start date: as soon as possible.
