Location: Yaounde, Cameroon
The Finance Officer (Partnership) will support the Finance Department in managing the financial aspects of partnerships, including partner due diligence, agreement implementation, financial report review, compliance monitoring, payments processing, and document archiving.
The position will work closely with implementing partners to strengthen financial management practices, ensure compliance with NRC procedures and donor requirements, and provide financial support during audits, reporting processes, and project implementation.
Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying partner financial reports, supporting documentation, and payment requests for compliance with NRC and donor requirements; processing and monitoring payments to implementing partners and ensuring timely financial postings in Agresso; supporting partnership agreement negotiations and monitoring financial compliance during project implementation; conducting financial capacity-building sessions for partners; performing partner financial monitoring activities and contributing to partner risk assessments; ensuring proper filing, scanning, and archiving of financial documentation; preparing bank reconciliations; and supporting audits and donor reporting.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; minimum three years' experience in finance, accounting, grants, or partnership management within a humanitarian, development, or recovery context; strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements; knowledge of Cameroon tax, labor, and financial regulations; fluency in French and English; proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
