PxD is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Research/Senior Research Manager for a mission-critical role supporting its flagship program in Indonesia, working closely with researchers, government partners, and cross-functional teams to design, test, and scale evidence-based, inclusive digital agricultural solutions for smallholder farmers. The role manages a portfolio of projects, anchoring work in iterative learning while operating across service delivery and research functions. Responsibilities include leading research activities (formative research, rapid user testing, experiments), overseeing field activities, data management, analysis, and A/B testing; developing and ensuring compliance with research protocols; managing relationships with government counterparts and implementing partners; mentoring Associate- and Manager-level staff; and contributing to funding proposals and communications. PxD is a global non-profit that has scaled digital agriculture services to more than 46 million farmers across Africa and Asia via direct service delivery, partner service improvement, and government advisory. Candidates should hold a degree in economics, agricultural economics, public policy, or a related field; have experience on at least three large projects involving rigorous research or evidence-based programs in Indonesia; strong grasp of economics and randomized evaluations; proficiency in Stata/R; experience with SurveyCTO/ODK; research ethics understanding; strong English communication skills; working proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; and the right to live and work in Indonesia.
