The Head of Internal Technology & Systems provides strategic leadership and organisational accountability for Healthy Learners' internal technology environment, defining and executing internal technology strategy to ensure systems, infrastructure, security, and IT services enable effective operations, organisational scale, and geographic expansion. The role builds a secure, integrated, scalable, user-centred technology environment while strengthening governance, managing technology risk, and ensuring investments deliver measurable value. Key responsibilities include owning technology strategy and roadmap, enterprise systems and architecture (ERP/finance, HR, CRM/donor management), IT operations and infrastructure, cybersecurity and technology risk, business continuity, technology governance and data protection compliance, digital workplace adoption, IT financial management and vendor/asset management, and leading the internal IT team. Requires 7-10+ years of progressive experience in IT, enterprise systems, or technology operations, demonstrated leadership of an IT function or technology team, strong knowledge of IT operations and infrastructure, experience translating legal/regulatory/data protection requirements into technology governance, people leadership experience, and excellent stakeholder communication skills. A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field is valued; relevant certifications in IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise architecture are an advantage.
