The Senior Manager, Digital Service Coordination and Pilot Partnerships drives regional delivery, adoption, and impact of the AI-assisted Digital Service across the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM) alliance and C40 cities, while overseeing pilots of AI-assisted functionalities in target countries. Reporting to the Head of Data Systems, Regions and Partnerships, the role operationalises the link between technical development and regional impact, leading execution of the global engagement strategy and coordinating a regional engagement team across GCoM Regional/National Covenants, C40 regional teams, and partners. Responsibilities include coordinating global engagement for the Digital Service, aligning regional delivery strategies with global milestones, building strategic partnerships with national governments and local delivery partners for country-level pilots, organising regional convenings and workshops, and overseeing internal project management for the Support & Stakeholder Engagement workstream. Requirements include strong experience in on-the-ground engagement and pilot deployment, demonstrated success building partnerships with governments and municipal leaders, expertise designing capacity-building programmes, experience coordinating distributed teams across cultures and time zones, significant experience in urban sustainability or climate change, agile project management experience, and fluency in English (French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic desirable). This is a fixed-term role until 31 December 2028; applicants must already have the right to work in the listed locations.
