As MHPSS coordinator you will oversee all MdM's MHPSS programming for the Yemen mission, contributing to proposal writing and country strategy elaboration for the MHPSS sector. Under the supervision of the general coordinator and in close collaboration with the mental health advisor, you will provide technical leadership and functional management to MHPSS Officers based in Sana'a, Aden and Marib, supporting implementation, coordination and monitoring of activities integrating Mental Health and Psychosocial Support components across MdM programmes.

Key responsibilities include leading development, implementation and monitoring of the country MHPSS strategy; ensuring MHPSS activities are integrated into primary health care services in line with gender-sensitive approaches; guaranteeing compliance with MdM and international MHPSS standards; strengthening referral pathways with partners; participating in recruitment and capacity building of MHPSS staff including Training of Trainers programmes on PFA and PM+; coordinating with local authorities, NGO partners, UN agencies and other stakeholders; and overseeing monitoring, evaluation and learning processes including donor reporting.

Requirements: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health or related field, with training in MHPSS and project management. Proven experience managing MHPSS programmes in humanitarian settings including programme design, quality assurance, monitoring and donor reporting. Solid understanding of IASC and WHO MHPSS frameworks. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with donors, authorities and partners.

Fixed-term contract for 6 months starting January 2027, gross monthly salary 3,392€, based in Sanaa with possible temporary relocation to Aden depending on security situation.
