Location: Bintaro, Indonesia
The Livelihood & Resilience Specialist will provide strategic technical and management support to Livelihood (LH) programming, including the food security portfolio, working with area programmes in Indonesia. S/he will work directly with LH area programme staff and operations teams, overseeing the Integrated Program Framework (IPF) budget for the respective zone, and providing technical support for project implementation, monitoring and evaluation, including in emergencies. Responsibilities include: developing implementation plans for food security and livelihood programmes; supervising monitoring, evaluation and needs assessments; developing food security and climate-resilient agriculture projects; coordinating emergency livelihood programming; providing budgeting frameworks and leadership in resource acquisition; supporting proposal development; providing technical support and capacity building to area programme staff; ensuring quality implementation and accountability systems; and networking with governments, humanitarian agencies, donors and other stakeholders. Requirements: 5-7 years' experience in livelihoods resilience and economic development; experience in a complex international NGO/development context; experience in project design, implementation, M&E and report writing; Master's degree in livelihoods, agriculture, agroforestry, livestock, fishery, economic development or related field; fluent English; strong facilitation, training, coaching, planning and project management skills; willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including to remote locations.
