Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is recruiting a Pharmacist for its Atlas Logistique project in Darfur, Sudan. Reporting to the Atlas Operations Manager, the Pharmacist is the field technical focal point for Medical Logistics, ensuring pharmaceutical compliance of Atlas services covering receipt, storage, stock management, distribution and transport of medical products. The role implements and monitors the quality assurance system, temperature-controlled and cold-chain activities, provides technical recommendations to operational teams and partners, and contributes to reporting, capacity building, coordination and continuous improvement of activities. Main responsibilities include: review of partner requests and regulatory compliance; receipt and distribution of medical products; storage, stock management and traceability; quality assurance, self-inspections and non-conformities; cold-chain and equipment management; transport of medical products; staff training and capacity building; and reporting, communication and representation. Requirements: a Pharmacist degree, with specialization in humanitarian medical logistics desirable; minimum three years of experience in the humanitarian sector (NGO/UN), including storage and/or distribution of medical products and cold chain; excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and Good Distribution and Storage Practices; ability to work under pressure in a context of ongoing insecurity; patience, creativity and strong teamwork skills. This is a 6-month international contract starting October 2026, based in Tawila, with social cover, medical coverage, repatriation insurance, salary from €2346 gross/month, perdiem and hardship allowances, paid leave, and collective housing provided.
