The Program Coordinator (PC) is accountable for the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of FHF Nepal project activities, working closely with the Nepal Eye Program - Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO), regional partner hospitals, government stakeholders, and all other relevant stakeholders. The PC will also support relevant components of the broader FHF Nepal project, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and evidence generation across multisectoral platforms. Based in Kathmandu, the role involves close coordination with TIO and government stakeholders, and may require domestic or international travel when needed. Key responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day implementation of the FHF Nepal project; developing project workplans; supporting integration of eye health into the primary health system in line with Nepal's Government Eye Health Strategy; serving as primary focal point for TIO, regional partner hospitals, and government stakeholders; coordinating a multi-stakeholder steering committee; organising training activities; contributing to planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation; coordinating project financial and operational matters; preparing high-quality reports including donor reporting; and identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks. Requirements: minimum five years' progressive work experience in the health and development sector, including experience implementing health projects and delivering results; experience working with INGOs and/or NGOs; proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with a wide network of partners; project management skills to manage multiple concurrent projects; practical technical skills for strengthening eye care services and health systems at grassroots, provincial, and national levels; general knowledge of Nepal's government structure and local administration; excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; and strong oral and written communication skills in English.
