The Country Director serves as the most senior leader of ActionAid Cambodia and is responsible for providing strategic direction, organisational leadership, and effective representation of the organisation at national and international levels. Reporting to ActionAid International Regional Head of Asia, the Country Director leads the development and implementation of the Country Strategy and ensures that programmes, operations, resources, and partnerships effectively contribute to achieving ActionAid's mission and objectives. The role requires a strong understanding of Cambodia's social, political, and economic context, together with the ability to build strategic partnerships, influence policy, and drive organisational excellence. AAC is seeking a visionary and dynamic Country Director to provide strategic leadership, high-level representation and overall management of ActionAid Cambodia, inspiring staff, strengthening partnerships, influencing policies, and ensuring effective delivery of the Country Strategy Paper in alignment with ActionAid International's global strategy. The CD is expected to champion feminist leadership principles, safeguarding policies, and ActionAid's values, while driving innovation, sustainability, and accountability across programs, fundraising, advocacy, operations and people management, including leading a robust and diversified fundraising strategy that strengthens financial resilience and expands partnerships with institutional donors, foundations and private-sector partners. This position is open to Cambodian Nationals.
