Part-time Enumerator | Monitoring, Evidence and Learning | Kirehe District. Reports to: Senior Enumerator. Village Enterprise's mission is to end extreme poverty in rural Africa through entrepreneurship, innovation, and collective action, empowering women, refugees, and youth to launch small businesses and savings groups. Village Enterprise is seeking part-time enumerators to support data collection activities in Kirehe district. The ideal candidate is self-driven and able to work independently, demonstrating strong data collection skills while also critically reviewing completed surveys and providing timely feedback to the M&E team. Responsibilities include correctly identifying and mapping community-based sampled respondents; conducting interviews and surveys and recording data using electronic devices; accurately recording GPS coordinates and observations; introducing the survey and team to participants; administering informed consent; translating survey content from English into the local language when required; synchronizing collected data daily; maintaining privacy and confidentiality; providing progress reports; and ensuring safety of data collection equipment. Requirements: minimum of a bachelor's degree in any discipline with prior experience/exposure in research disciplines and data collection; good understanding of data quality elements; prior experience in data collection using electronic mobile devices is an advantage; prior experience working with refugees is an asset; experience supporting entrepreneurship, livelihoods, or economic-inclusion programming in a refugee-camp setting is desirable.
