The Head of Programme Finance leads the Finance Partner and Finance Specialist teams, including technical line management of ICP finance staff, and is responsible for leading direct financial support and oversight to country programmes. The role ensures effective financial planning, oversight, resource management, fundraising support, and ICP financial reporting, thereby strengthening programme delivery. Based at the Global Support Office (GSO) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Responsibilities: Oversee financial forecasting, monitoring, reporting and oversight of country programmes including related assets and obligations at GSO headquarters; lead financial support to develop fundraising strategies including proposal writing; manage the Finance Partner and Finance Specialist teams and ensure robust technical line management of Finance staff in International Country Programs; lead and strengthen collaboration with the corporate finance team and international programmes at GSO headquarters; drive ongoing development of financial management systems and processes including leading the finance working group; build capacity of Finance Partners, Finance Specialists, and country finance staff through technical guidance, coaching, and development of consistent financial management practices. Requirements: University degree; 10+ years' experience working in finance and programme delivery for an NGO and/or large complex organisation; working level of English and French; proven skills in team management, stakeholder management, financial planning and monitoring, complex financial analysis and reporting, and improving financial management systems and processes; high computer literacy including Microsoft Excel. Candidates must be Swiss or eligible EU citizens, or hold a valid work permit for Switzerland.
