IMPACT Initiatives is a Geneva-based NGO and the largest independent data provider in contexts of crisis, aiming to shape practices and influence policies in humanitarian and development settings. IMPACT was launched in 2010 at the initiative of ACTED, an international NGO headquartered in Paris and present in thirty countries; the two organizations maintain a strong operational partnership. IMPACT is currently looking for a Country Representative to lead its Ethiopia mission, based in Addis Ababa. Contract duration: 12 months. Starting date: October/November 2026. Country context: since 2018, Ethiopia has experienced escalating insecurity and unrest, including large-scale displacement following significant domestic political changes, compounded by recurring climate-related shocks; conflict in Tigray (2020) and renewed conflict in Amhara (since August 2023) have further intensified humanitarian needs. Functions: under the management of IMPACT's Regional Coordinator for Africa (Geneva), the Country Representative represents IMPACT and manages/develops IMPACT's programmes in Ethiopia, leading the country team to achieve program excellence and ensure compliance with IMPACT guidelines, policies and standards. The CR maintains regular contact with HQ, promotes organizational vision and core values across the mission, and links with HQ on implementation of IMPACT's global strategy. The CR will be hosted by ACTED and fall under the direct responsibility of ACTED's Country Director for administrative matters.
