The Tutor will implement activities in prioritized communities and educational institutions in the municipality of Arauca, aimed at children at risk of school dropout, strengthening academic and socio-emotional skills to ensure school retention. The role provides access to safe, quality learning spaces with a cross-cutting focus on gender, climate change and environment, particularly for children and adolescents affected by the migration crisis and armed conflict. Key responsibilities include planning and leading activities for children and adolescents in communities and schools; leading awareness and outreach sessions with educational communities; conducting monitoring, evaluation and follow-up for impact measurement and indicator compliance; supporting identification of protection needs for children affected by migration, conflict and violence; promoting equality, diversity and child rights protection; running recreational, sports, cultural and educational activities including reading clubs and digital classrooms; supporting child protection and safeguarding routes; and maintaining regular communication and reporting to project coordination. Administrative duties include reporting activities and lessons learned per M&E structures, contributing to donor narrative reports, and documenting project progress. Requirements: technical, teaching-normalist, technologist, or minimum sixth-semester student in pedagogy, social work, psychology, sociology, or related human/social sciences; availability to reside in Arauca and travel within the department and country as required. Minimum 6 months certified professional experience working with children and adolescents as a teacher or tutor, ability to relate to children from diverse cultural backgrounds, capacity to work in difficult contexts, knowledge of child/adolescent rights, literacy teaching methods, STEAM methodology, and ICT knowledge. Fixed-term permanent contract, full-time.
