Location: Mexico / Trinidad and Tobago
This position is specifically designed to represent youth perspectives and participation within the Youth Network. Candidates must be 25 years of age or younger from the date of hire. The role works with the Regional Team to bring direct involvement of youth and build regional and global platforms for youth activism and youth-led accountability, working with other Youth Networkers and regional youth networks to build a global Youth IPPF community. The role champions youth-centered action within the Secretariat, supports Member Associations to develop youth networks, and works with other members of the regional team from a youth perspective. Deliverables include organizing inclusive youth action and regional youth networks, advising on direct youth participation and youth-led accountability, contributing a youth perspective to Secretariat initiatives (advocacy, workshop design, communications), building engagement and mentoring pathways for younger leadership, and supporting a safe, safeguarding-compliant environment. Essential skills include experience working with youth groups, cross-cultural communication, time management and facilitation skills, basic project coordination experience, business English and Spanish, and a strong commitment to safeguarding, diversity, anti-racism, and sexual and reproductive health rights and justice.
