One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive across nine African countries. The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst will support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, annual budgeting, and long-term financial planning, while building and maintaining financial models and leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data analysis and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable, automated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and planning; ensuring seamless data integration between internal tools and the Data Warehouse; supporting monthly/quarterly reporting cycles including the reporting calendar and coordination with FAS and Accounting teams; assisting in annual budgeting and five-year projections; contributing to Board and lender packs including GAAP financials and due diligence items; and providing analytical support through scenario modeling and data visualization using tools such as SQL and R. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience, strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, proficiency in R, Python, DAX, knowledge of financial processes and regulations, and a strong understanding of accounting principles (primarily GAAP). This role is only open to citizens or permanent residents of Kenya.
