Position: Country Finance Manager Ukraine.
Location: Kyiv. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager (functional) and Country Representative (organisational).
Starting date: ASAP.
Family duty station: NO.
Purpose of the Role: responsible for all administrative and accounting processes, including financial reporting, budget planning, development and monitoring; manages local finance staff.
Main functions: general administration (grants/contracts/vendor tracking, donor compliance, capacity building of local staff); accounting (monthly reconciliations, cash/bank management); financial reporting; budget & planning (donor-compliant budgets, financial risk monitoring); audit process coordination; procedures (WeWorld Financial Management SOP implementation); human resources (National Staff payroll/benefits compliance, recruitment support); capacity building and nationalisation strategy support.
Essential requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics/Financial/Accounting management; knowledge of institutional donor procedures (AICS, EU, UN agencies); working knowledge of English; strong MS Office/Excel skills; preferably 2 years professional experience in finance/administrative positions in the international cooperation sector and/or humanitarian aid projects; budget management and procurement monitoring experience. Desirable: Italian, AICS/EU/ECHO procedures knowledge.
