Tearfund is seeking to recruit a Finance and Administration Manager in the Mozambique Country Office. As the Finance & Administration Manager you will provide financial, personnel and overall administrative leadership to the Mozambique office and work closely with the Regional Finance Manager and other support service functions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in accordance with Tearfund's financial, administration, logistics and Human Resources procedures, its Christian distinctiveness, code of conduct and the Mozambique legal framework within which the Mozambique programme operates. Additionally you will support the country team staff at the programme head office plus at project sites, with responsibility for setting up and implementing a coordinated logistics, administrative and financial function in support of the programme. In accordance with Tearfund policies and guidelines, you will support a system of internal controls to safeguard Tearfund assets, mitigate against the risk of financial loss and fraud, and satisfy donor and statutory audit requirements. The successful candidate will provide systematic support to Tearfund's partners in Mozambique to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with Tearfund policies and procedures. Requirements: At least 5 years relevant working experience preferably in an INGO; experience working with institutional and non-conventional donor systems and requirements; experience running cross-regional budgets efficiently; experience managing large humanitarian projects; strong understanding of administration, logistics and HR functions; experience of emergency procurement and logistics compliance; and a vision for Tearfund's work. This is a fixed-term contract of 2 years based in Maputo, Mozambique, with a possibility of renewal. Salary is 3,648,135 MZM per annum.
