Oxfam (Oxfam in Cambodia, under the Climate Resilience for All / CREFA initiative of the Natural Resource Governance Program) seeks a service provider to produce a high-quality 15-25 minute promotional video documenting the conservation achievements, biodiversity, community livelihoods, and ecotourism potential of the Sang Rukhavorn Community Protected Area in Oddar Meanchey Province, Cambodia. The video will serve as an advocacy and communication tool capturing the relationship between local communities, Buddhist monks, and forest ecosystems, and will promote sustainable ecotourism and community-led conservation.
Scope of work covers three phases: PRE-PRODUCTION (understand objectives and key messages, consult stakeholders and community representatives, develop a concept note, script, storyboard, filming plan, visual style, identify interviewees and locations, obtain filming permissions and consents); PRODUCTION (capture high-quality footage of forest landscapes and biodiversity, community forest patrols and conservation activities, non-timber forest products, community livelihoods, monks' role in forest protection, ecotourism attractions, and interviews with community leaders and beneficiaries; secure informed consent; capture portrait, action, and wide shots); and POST-PRODUCTION (edit a compelling video in Khmer with English subtitles including sign-language interpretation for accessibility, comply with Oxfam branding, use properly licensed music, ensure gender-sensitive and inclusive content).
Deliverables include a video production plan and schedule, script and storyboard, the 15-25 minute video, all raw footage/photos/voice records, selected raw footage, and 50 high-quality photos. Payment follows a three-stage schedule (30% on signing, 30% on plan/script/storyboard, 40% on final delivery), with Cambodian withholding tax applied (15% resident / 14% non-resident). Assignment period: August-October 2026, remote with travel to Oddar Meanchey province.
Profile requirements: professional expertise in journalism, editing, or creative writing; ability to produce storyboards; strong videography experience and social-media fluency; sound and lighting setup skills; knowledge of video technology trends and web marketing; and understanding of broadcasting and video encoding.
