Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) for procurement of consulting services under the Karachi Mobility Project – Yellow Line Corridor (BRT), financed by the World Bank (Loan No. IBRD-8995-PK). The client is the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), Government of Sindh. The Project Management Team invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing services for one Communication Specialist position (Ref. No. PK-SMTA-561064-CS-INDV).
Qualifications: Master's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communication or a related field from an HEC recognized university; foreign qualifications considered an added advantage. Specialized training in communication, journalism, mass media, public relations, IT, planning, or strategies is relevant.
Experience: Active affiliations/membership of a recognized professional organization; at least 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience including a minimum of 2 years in a similar role. Relevant international work experience is an added advantage.
The consultant will submit deliverables per the structured framework in the TORs. Selection will follow the Individual Consultant Selection method set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, revised November 2017, August 2018). Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating the required qualifications and relevant experience.
