Treasury Officer, Operations and Services

The Treasury Officer, Operations and Services will ensure an efficient processing of all post-trading functions (confirmations, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions management, and cash flow forecast) of Treasury activities. The incumbent will more specifically focus on loan disbursements and related hedging transactions as well as their cash flow projections while also supporting other team activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will represent the team in various system or instrument implementation projects and working groups and liaise with outsourced services providers. They will report to the Head of Treasury Operations & Services and will work closely with other Treasury staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure completeness and correctness of trade bookings in the Trading and Treasury systems,
- Ensure correct and timely settlement of Treasury activities (loans, securities, fixed income, derivatives).
- Process the Bank's loan transactions and support colleagues in charge of Investment (liquidity management) and Funding (borrowing) deals.
- Process margin calls related to the derivatives and repos portfolios.
- Act as a key contributor in the implementation of various Treasury systems and instruments.
- Ensure all internal controls are duly performed and effective, in line with the evolution of the Bank.
- Contribute to daily cash and securities reconciliations.
- Monitor the correctness and completeness of work performed by outsourced middle and back office service providers.
- Act as the focal point for internal and external audit queries, and provide required reports, data, and information.
- Implement data dashboards and contribute to their continuous updating.
- Process monthly invoices for outsourced service providers.
- Contribute proactively to the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of the Treasury function by leveraging technology, driving automation, and defining best-in-class processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in a leading international bank, preferably a multilateral development bank or international organization.
- Master's degree or equivalent in business administration or finance. Relevant professional certifications would be an advantage.
- Experience with cash correspondent models and custodians, with a focus on Asian and emerging markets.
- Expertise with SWIFT, securities transactions, cash management, collateral management, and treasury management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to clients' queries, requests, and needs.
- Demonstrated ability to identify key strategic issues, opportunities, risks, and solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively, and adhere to deadlines while always paying attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
- Looks for ways to improve processes and make work more efficient, including using automation where possible.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
