Re:wild protects and restores the wild to build a thriving Earth where all life flourishes. Founded by renowned conservation scientists together with Leonardo DiCaprio, Re:wild brings together Indigenous peoples, local communities, leaders, NGOs, governments, companies and the public to protect and rewild at scale.
As Chief Revenue Officer, you will be the architect of Re:wild's next era of growth, partnering directly with the CEO and Executive Team to build, diversify, and scale the revenue engine that funds major conservation work worldwide. Core donors fund organizational overhead, so 100% of other philanthropic contributions go directly to co-fund programmatic work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization's overall revenue growth strategy, from vision to execution, growing revenue from $100M in 2026 to $250M by 2030.
- Serve as primary point of contact for inbound partnership and funding opportunities, assessing legitimacy, fit and resourcing needs.
- Increase direct programmatic co-funding to on-the-ground partners.
- Lead and inspire the philanthropy team while coordinating with Programs, Communications/Marketing and Operations.
- Translate complex conservation visions into compelling, investor-grade funding narratives for major donors and innovative finance partners.
- Integrate innovative revenue mechanisms such as blended finance, conservation bonds, debt-for-nature swaps, market-based mechanisms, ESG-aligned investments and pooled funding vehicles.
- Build philanthropic councils and advisory bodies; develop Re:wild's 'beyond donor-advised fund' model for high-net-worth individuals, corporations and foundations.
- Own Salesforce as the revenue backbone for pipeline visibility, donor stewardship, analytics and forecasting.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior revenue, development or philanthropic leadership role.
- Demonstrated track record of designing and executing multi-year fundraising strategies that materially grow revenue.
- Experience with major gifts, institutional funding and/or blended finance.
- Bold, collaborative leadership style; exceptional communication skills; strong operational instincts.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM; understanding of charitable giving legal guidelines and nonprofit compliance.
- Genuine commitment to Re:wild's mission.
Nice to have: conservation background; proficiency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese or Bahasa; advanced degree.
Salary: $200,000-$250,000. Remote role with significant domestic and international travel expected.
