WWF's conservation teams across the globe rely on robust, secure cloud infrastructure to protect wildlife, engage communities, and drive climate action. As Senior Cloud Engineer, you will manage the mission-critical infrastructure that supports conservation programs, enabling WWF-US and its Country Offices across South America, Central America, Africa, and Asia to operate seamlessly.
Responsibilities:

- Secure identity and access: configure Microsoft Entra tenants, manage SSO through Azure Enterprise Apps, maintain RBAC and user groups, patch systems proactively, and automate tasks with PowerShell and Graph API.
- Design backup strategies and disaster recovery playbooks.
- Troubleshoot networking across VNETs, sites and tenants, including firewalls, load balancers and DNS (Azure and Cloudflare).
- Act as the go-to expert for complex Azure, Entra ID and M365 issues, leading projects end-to-end and keeping technical and non-technical stakeholders informed.
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work for critical outages or planned maintenance.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT or a related field and at least 8 years of work experience, including at least 6 years in IT.
- Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish (must have).
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise IT systems and highly available Azure production systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture and networking, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Windows and Linux servers.
- Proficiency managing Windows domains and Active Directory.
- Expertise in PowerShell and Graph API for Azure management, workflow automation and deployment orchestration.
- Familiarity with provisioning access for Fabric, Power BI and Azure Foundry, and integrating Microsoft Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio and Copilot Agents, including data access governance.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting methodologies, project management skills, and a collaborative, inclusive approach aligned with WWF's values of courage, integrity, respect and collaboration.
