Oxfam Novib fights inequality together with colleagues, partner organisations and activists in more than 90 countries. As E-mail/CRM Marketeer you are responsible for developing, executing, managing and optimising email campaigns and automated supporter journeys. You connect strategy, data, content and technology to engage, activate and retain Oxfam Novib's supporter base over the long term.
You look at the full supporter lifecycle from an email and CRM perspective: from first contact and onboarding to activation, conversion, retention, reactivation and upgrade. You ensure supporters receive relevant communication at the right time and safeguard coherence between campaigns and automated flows. You work closely with the Digital Team, fundraisers, campaigners and colleagues from content, data, CX and Supporter Relations.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, building, testing and sending email campaigns and newsletters
- Developing, managing and optimising automated supporter and donor journeys
- Maintaining an overview of existing email campaigns and automated flows: which are active, for which audiences and what supporters receive
- Advising on audience, message, timing and approach in briefings
- Initiating and coordinating larger marketing automation projects, from concept and requirements to setup, testing, go-live and further development
- Analysing results and running A/B tests to continuously improve campaigns and journeys
- Safeguarding contact pressure, deliverability, data quality, consent and GDPR
- Identifying opportunities to streamline campaigns, journeys and work processes
Requirements:
- Higher professional (HBO) or university-level working and thinking, with extensive experience in email marketing, CRM and marketing automation
- Preferably experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable platform
- Able to independently develop, build, test and optimise email campaigns and automated journeys
- Experience with lifecycle marketing, segmentation, personalisation, A/B testing and deliverability
- Data- and results-driven; able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Affinity with fundraising and communication for a broad and diverse audience
- Good communication in Dutch and English
- Support for Oxfam Novib's mission and values, and a valid permit to live and work in the Netherlands
Conditions: 6-month contract (pregnancy cover), based in The Hague, hybrid (50% office, 50% home), 36 hours per week, salary scale 8 (€3,325–€4,934 gross per month), year-end bonus and annual CAO salary increase. Oxfam Novib does not offer visa sponsorship.
