Job Summary: As a member of the CAPACities project team, you will monitor and report on all project activities in support of CRS' work serving the poor and vulnerable, ensuring the project consistently applies best practices and improves the impact of its benefits to those served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the implementation plan, in line with CRS program quality principles, donor requirements, and good practices.
- Support accountability by coordinating project evaluation activities and assisting partners in collecting and analyzing project data. Collaborate with local partner(s) to prepare reports on the established schedule.
- Complete project documentation for assigned activities; help identify information for case studies and reports on promising practices.
- Ensure documentation and learning accompany project activities throughout the project cycle; guide LGU partners in reflecting on project experiences; analyze implementation challenges and report inconsistencies or gaps to inform adjustments.
- Support and coordinate capacity building and technical support for community-based DRR work in line with project guidelines and standards.
- Ensure project reports and documentation are complete and filed per agency and donor requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in project support.
- Experience in participatory action planning and community engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating and monitoring project activities and collecting relevant data.
- Experience in DRR and Climate Resilience, ideally with an NGO.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); observation, active listening and analysis skills; good relationship management with local partners and community members; attention to detail; proactive, results-oriented and service-oriented.
Languages: Bisaya, Tagalog and English are required.
Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 30%.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Contractual Field Assistant, as needed.
