Coordinates financial/accounting operations, including overall financial monitoring and support/guidance to projects in finance and operations staff, to ensure the fiscal well-being of the organization. Provides financial management and guidance, conducts analyses of financial data, provides budget analyses for project funds, and reviews and prepares required reports to funding agencies to ensure compliance with donor requirements. The incumbent is responsible for conducting financial accounting duties and providing support to the Finance Unit of the FHI 360 Indonesia office. Accountabilities: Analyzes, budget forecasts, regulatory filings and compiles moderately complex data; interprets, analyzes and evaluates data, ensures compliance with applicable Indonesia statutes, and uses GAAP; develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal project team, consultants, and management; interprets and provides explanation for discrepancies and variations in financial data; prepares monthly financial close reports including bank reconciliations; ensures financial transactions for assigned district-based activities are recorded timely and reviewed for accuracy; responsible for tax calculation and compliance of the EPIC project; supervises the Finance Officer; supports the Senior Finance Manager to ensure EPIC project compliance with FHI 360 financial policies; handles the VAT Exemption Process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or related field, with minimum 8 years' relevant experience in a business setting; proficiency in spreadsheet software; prior experience working on USAID programs and in an international NGO environment; fluent English required; Deltek Costpoint experience preferred; working knowledge of Word and Excel; well organized, self-starter with attention to detail; able to work well within a team; external auditor experience of minimum 2 years an advantage; excellent communication skills and good command of written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
