PATH seeks Regional Data Quality Officers for the USG-funded REACH Malaria global project, which provides implementation support to accelerate comprehensive delivery of facility and community-based malaria services including case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy, seasonal malaria chemoprevention, and maternal/child health services. Reporting to the regional program manager, the officer supports improvement of malaria data quality across REACH-supported health facilities, providing technical support, mentorship, and training to health workers on data capturing, recording, reporting and use for local decision making, in collaboration with regional, zonal and district malaria officers. Responsibilities include supporting the MEL plan, mentoring health facilities on data quality assurance, distributing data tools, training health workers, conducting routine data quality assurance activities with Regional Health Bureaus, tracking project milestones and KPIs, documenting best practices, and building relationships with health authorities and implementing partners. Requires a bachelor's degree in health sciences or related field (master's preferred), at least five years of experience in MEL system design and implementation, experience in malaria data quality assurance, proficiency in ODK, Kobo-Collect, DHIS2, Excel, and statistical software (SAS/SPSS/Stata), strong English skills, and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
