The position coordinates and manages implementation of Protection from Violence (PfV) activities, facilitating coordination in camps where NRC implements PfV activities, capacity building of staff, and programme quality. The coordinator oversees management of all PfV activities, implements protection risk and needs assessments, monitors budget expenditure, contributes to CC strategy development, proposal writing, fundraising, and donor reports. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of PfV projects, maintaining oversight of civilian self-protection services, preparing work plans and reports, supervising and coaching protection project staff, contributing to funding proposals, refining data collection and reporting tools, ensuring safety SOP adherence, leading data management systems, collaborating with M&E on data analysis, conducting technical assessments and protection monitoring, and overseeing case management processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, Peace and Conflict studies, or related field; experience with Civilian Self-Protection and community-based protection programming; at least 3 years' experience implementing Protection Case Management in humanitarian settings, especially Cox's Bazar and Bashan Char; experience in coordinating or managerial roles; technical expertise in CSP programme design and delivery; training in protection risk reduction; experience with protection information data management; knowledge of data protection standards; strong training and capacity-building experience; excellent communication skills; and fluency in English. Knowledge of Chittagonian language is an asset. Duty station is Cox's Bazar, 12-month contract, one position, approximately 80% travel within the programme area.
