Wellcome is a global charitable foundation that improves health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships. The Digital Channels Manager will join the Communications team within Corporate Affairs, reporting to the Content Lead, and will help ensure Wellcome's website, social media channels and paid digital activity work together to engage audiences and support strategic priorities. Responsibilities include leading the development and delivery of Wellcome's social media channel strategies; overseeing external digital channels to ensure content is timely, accessible, accurate and aligned with organisational priorities; leading planning, creation, commissioning and editing of digital content across the website and social platforms; collaborating with the Digital Marketing Manager on paid digital campaigns; using analytics, social listening and audience insights to optimise performance; and leading website content planning and governance with internal teams and external partners. Candidates should have experience managing digital channels for a large, complex organisation, a proven track record developing social media strategies across multiple platforms, experience leading website content projects including content audits, experience using analytics to inform content strategy, and experience managing agencies, freelancers or external partners. The role is hybrid, based in Wellcome's London Euston Road offices three days a week.
