Under the overall supervision of the CEA Program Coordinator, the direct supervision of the Senior Program Assistant, and the administrative supervision of the relevant HSO, the Community Mobilizer will contribute to community engagement and accountability (CEA) activities. Duties include conducting daily assessment activities such as group consultations, key informant interviews (KIIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs) as per assessment tools and CEA operational plans, and producing transcripts and summaries per provided templates. The role also involves outreach and feedback collection with target community members through community meetings and helpdesks to inform them about programme activities, raise awareness of community feedback mechanisms, and record feedback, along with maintaining attendance sheets and meeting notes. This role has no team management responsibility.

Required qualifications: High school diploma or certificate with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in community mobilization, data collection and data entry procedures. Minimum two years of experience in Afghanistan is essential, along with experience in community outreach, household assessments or surveys. Experience working with or liaising with the Afghan Government, UN agencies and NGOs is an advantage, as is familiarity with mobile data collection technologies such as KoBo or ODK. Working-level Dari and Pashto are essential, with fluency in English required. Qualified female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
