FHI 360 is a nonprofit organization that works to improve health, education, and economic opportunity so people can live healthy lives. The EpiC project strengthens HIV programs, supports global health security, expands tuberculosis detection and treatment, improves maternal and child health, addresses malaria, and helps build strong health systems. In 2026, FHI 360 will continue supporting Laos national efforts to strengthen outbreak detection, expand field epidemiology training, improve laboratory and surveillance systems, enhance biosafety and biosecurity practices, and support coordinated response to public health threats. The Project Manager for Global Health Security will lead and coordinate development and implementation of EpiC Laos GHS activities, ensuring work plan activities are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with national and donor priorities. Responsibilities include overseeing capacity building teams, developing project management plans and budget proposals, providing guidance to staff, monitoring project progress and performance, managing sub-grantees, overseeing operational and risk management, representing EpiC Laos with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provincial authorities and donors, and leading training and capacity-strengthening activities. Required: at least seven to ten years of experience managing health programs in Laos, strong knowledge of the Laos health system, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, familiarity with US Government program management and reporting requirements, and experience working within government sectors. Expected hiring salary range is indexed at USD 19,700-27,000 for annual basic salary.
