FHI 360 seeks a Health Information Systems Officer to support its STRIDES Activity in Cameroon, strengthening health data management, analysis, reporting, and digital health information systems under the U.S. government's Global Health Security program. The role covers data management and analysis (collecting, cleaning, validating data; building dashboards and automated reporting); health information systems strengthening (DHIS2, COHIS, CAHIS platform support, system integration, and interoperability); monitoring, evaluation, and learning (tracking indicators, supporting assessments and evaluation frameworks); data quality assurance (routine quality assessments and improvement plans); capacity building (training health workers and other ministries in data use under a One Health approach); and reporting/knowledge management. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in public health, health informatics, statistics, epidemiology, data science, computer science, or information systems (master's an advantage), with a minimum of 5 years of experience in health data management, M&E, or health information systems, ideally including DHIS2, digital health platforms, and Kobo Toolbox data collection. Technical proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R, and/or Python is expected. This is a strong technology/data-driven public health role within a global health security initiative operating across multiple countries, offering substantial digital-health and analytics responsibility.
