This practical, people-focused role supports Fiji's labour mobility program through reintegration, superannuation and family accompaniment initiatives. Working with the National Employment Centre and Foreign Employment Services, the officer provides operational, administrative, stakeholder engagement and client support to returned workers, participating workers and their families. Palladium advertises this role on behalf of the Government of Fiji, Ministry of Employment and National Employment Centre and Foreign Employment Services Unit; the officer is recruited by and reports to the Manager, Foreign Employment Services. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity based in Suva until 30 June 2027. Key responsibilities include supporting implementation of Fiji's Labour Mobility Reintegration Program; assisting returned workers and families to access services, referrals, and develop employment/business/financial plans; building relationships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs and training providers; helping workers understand Australian superannuation processes; supporting family accompaniment initiatives; assisting with visa, travel and settlement requirements; and supporting data collection, case management, monitoring and reporting. Requirements: bachelor's degree in human resource management, community development, social sciences, economics, public administration, business administration, international development, human services, social work or related discipline; at least three years' professional experience in program coordination, worker welfare, community development, reintegration, social services, migration, labour mobility or financial inclusion; demonstrated experience with diverse stakeholders and supporting vulnerable individuals; experience in project implementation, reporting and facilitating workshops and training. Experience in labour mobility, migration or workforce development, and ability to communicate in iTaukei and/or Fiji Hindi, would be advantageous.
