The Finance Specialist is responsible for processing transactions in the accounting system and general ledger of the assigned office/s or department/s, performing key accounting processes with a focus on intercompany billing transactions and reconciliations, as well as project finance review and reporting. The role ensures grant-funded project transaction lists and supporting documents are prepared and regularly reviewed for accuracy, completeness and compliance with donor and World Vision requirements. Major responsibilities include processing intercompany billing transactions and invoices, preparing reconciliations of accruals, general ledger accounts and funding, performing transfer planning and settlements, ensuring hedge payments, preparing tax reports, processing budget system funding commitments, investigating and resolving pending issues before year-end close, supporting external audits, and conducting regular review of transaction lists and documentation for grant-funded projects for donor compliance. Requirements: Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; knowledge of financial systems such as MS Dynamics and reporting tools such as Power BI; strong understanding of data management principles; minimum 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within an international NGO, multilateral organization or audit/accounting environment; minimum 6 months experience supporting offshore teams; experience working in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed environment; CPA preferred but not required.
