DRC is looking for a Community Mobilizer for its mixed migration project in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role supports implementation by engaging with communities and people on the move, disseminating protection and legal information, identifying protection concerns, facilitating referrals, and strengthening community participation and linkages with services along migration routes. Duties include conducting outreach and information sessions with migrants, returnees, and host communities; disseminating information on legal rights, protection and legal aid services, case management, and safe migration pathways; supporting weekly/monthly reporting on vulnerable cases; engaging women, girls, and persons with disabilities; conducting risk assessment visits and referrals; supporting community-based protection structures and networks; facilitating community consultations; and maintaining accurate records of outreach and community feedback. Requirements: experience working with migrants, returnees, refugees, IDPs or other vulnerable populations desirable; up to 1 year experience in community mobilization, basic needs/distribution programming, or advocacy; strong interpersonal and communication skills; Grade 12 certificate or relevant training; proficiency in English essential.
